Protecting your product is a vital step in the overall logistics process and we do this by providing in-transit security and assuring shelf readiness. Preserving our environment is of equal importance to all of us at Emerald Logistics Solutions. Our plan for caring for the environment, while not losing sight of safeguarding your shipment, is to use 100% recyclable material. Below are several examples of how we do this.
Plastic materials which includes stretch film, covers and straps are made almost entirely of Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) with small percentages of other types of polyethylene for property enhancement. All materials used in the production of this film are completely recyclable as low-density polyethylene.
The corregated materials are made of 100% unbleached virgin softwood pulp. These materials are a natural product and contain no flammable chemicals. Each of these materials are fully recyclable.
Wooden pallets meet and comply will all requirements of the EU directive. These materials also meet all requirements as outlined by the United States Department of Agriculture Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS).
